I hope that everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving! I know I did. I have been extremely busy trying to keep my head above water though. We are almost through midterm season, so I'm determined to hold on and keep swimming! In other words, no I am not drowning just yet.
Unfortunately, my brain is beginning to feel a little full, which is why I have turned to more of a mindless topic for this blog post. The big guy up top is really in need of a break, so I apologize if this post isn't as thought provoking as others. Who knows, maybe this is the moment all of you have been waiting for, the moment that I actually stop telling you what I think? Well enjoy it, because I can guarantee that these moments are far and few between!

Let's get on with things shall we? Today I wanted to talk about one of my favourite Disney movies. I have a serious soft spot for things that my four year old sister would also enjoy, but I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a kid at heart! Classic Disney has created some of the most nostalgic memories for 90's kids, so picking just one is not as easy as you might think! However, once we move out of the 90's and into the 21st century, I can easily tell you where my Disney loyalties lie and that is with UP!
UP always puts a smile on my face. For any of you who haven't watched this flick before, I highly suggest it! Back in 2010 a friend and I literally watched it every Wednesday night for the entire semester. Yes, we were that obsessed and YES it is that good. It became quite the tradition actually. Up, Wine, Wing Wednesdays. Hmmm, it may not have the ring we thought it did, but I can promise you that these four things all go together like peanut butter and jam. Guaranteed my roommates thought we were insanely strange, but that's not the point. It's almost as if we were living our lives in a vicarious fashion. Mind you, seeing as my friend was a guy, we were likely imagining ourselves as different characters. He was extremely amused by Doug, the talking dog, while I got all wrapped up in the romantics between Carl and Ellie. Go figure! Regardless, UP has something for everyone.
I instantly fell in love with this movie after watching Carl and Ellie's love story scene. Sigh, what more could you possibly want? If you take anything from this post I want it to be this: WATCH THE VIDEO ABOVE - and then go watch the whole movie. So precious!! I don't think it will ever get old.
♥.
Stay sweet,
L.
