It's not every day that important women in your life reach milestone birthdays, and not everyone can make 70 the new 50. However, we celebrated Gramma's birthday by throwing her a surprise bash and is she ever making 70 look good! Family and friends drove, both near and far, in complete secrecy all for one reason and one reason only - to celebrate this amazing woman and give her the gift of love, family, presence and hugs.
Without fail, Cheryl did it again. This Cake Boss-worthy result traveled over 1000km! Can you say resiliency and skill!? The cherry on top? The fondant was homemade out of marshmallows and icing sugar - yum!
Gramma's response? Priceless. The picture says it all - disbelief, joy and completely surprised.
Of course, Easton was there to help blow out the candles and leave a bit of saliva for all of us to chew on.
